Network — for principal firms

Your ARs are your responsibility. Keep the record that proves it.

Network is the Fenchurch One tier for principal firms supervising Appointed Representatives. Every AR gets its own record and its own portal, so what they complete and what you approve is kept as you go — not chased up after the fact.

Unlimited ARs Month-to-month 3 ARs included

Not supervising any Appointed Representatives? See Starter, Growth and Pro

What it covers

The record kept for every AR, as you go

A principal firm holds FCA authorisation and appoints other firms (its Appointed Representatives) to operate under that permission, giving them a faster route to market than seeking their own. Supervising them properly is a regulatory duty, not a choice. Fenchurch tracks and evidences what you do — it doesn't do the oversight for you. Network gives you the record, the portal and the roll-up to run it properly.

The AR portal

Your ARs do their part, without you chasing

Each AR gets its own login and sees only its own firm. You choose what appears there.

01

You set them up

Add the Annual Confirmations, registers and policy templates each AR needs, from your side.

02

They complete it in their portal

Each AR signs into its own space and works through what's outstanding. Nothing else is visible to them.

03

It lands on your side, evidenced

Every submission is kept against that AR's record, dated, and rolled into your network-wide view.

SUP 12 Self-Assessment

Your annual SUP 12 self-assessment, filled from the records you already keep

SUP 12.6A.6R asks every principal firm for a written self-assessment of how it complies with SUP 12, naming any material deficiencies and the steps agreed to fix them, reviewed and approved by its directors at least once every 12 months. Network gives you that document as a form in seven parts. Your AR oversight records fill much of it as you go, the agreed steps are chased until they are closed, and every approved version is kept for six years.

Seven parts, in plain English

  1. 01AboutYour firm and its FRN, read from your own record, who approves the document and the period it covers, and every AR and tied agent in the network, brought in from their own records.
  2. 02ComplianceHow your firm complies with SUP 12, area by area: Met, Partial, Not Met or N/A, how you comply and the evidence you hold.
  3. 03AssessmentThe five assessments the FCA expects: how effective your oversight is, your controls and resources, the risk of harm, significant events and the methods you use, each with a conclusion and your reasoning.
  4. 04AR reviewsEach AR's latest annual review and the concerns it raised, filled from its Annual Review record.
  5. 05DeficienciesDeficiencies and concerns, whether each is material, and the step agreed, with an owner, a due date and a status.
  6. 06EscalationsMatters escalated to your directors during the year, and what was decided.
  7. 07ApprovalYour directors' decision, the approver who records it, and the minute attached.

What it does for you

  • Every AR oversight record feeds it: intensified monitoring, financial monitoring, supervisory meetings, file sampling, second line reviews, material changes, FCA correspondence, annual reviews and terminations
  • Each agreed step is chased on its due date until it is closed
  • Mark it ready for approval and it is checked line by line first: it cannot go to your directors while a material item has no agreed step, owner or due date
  • Your directors' decision and the minute are recorded in the document itself
  • Each approved version is locked and kept for six years
  • Download it in Word, or as a PDF paper for your directors; a draft says Draft on every page
  • Next year's starts as a copy of the one your directors approved, so you bring it up to date rather than start again
  • A reminder each year, on the day and month you choose
  • Your ARs cannot see it

Inside Network

Built for supervising the firms you are responsible for

Network is not a switch that unlocks a couple of extra fields. It adds AR Oversight, the SUP 12 Self-Assessment and a report across your network, gives every AR's record a SUP 12 side for your oversight, and lets every page show one AR, several or all of them. Only principals see it. Here is what it adds.

The network view

Across every AR

AR Oversight

Every appointed representative and tied agent in one table, with a status for each oversight area: monitoring, supervisory meetings, file sampling, annual review, material changes, financial monitoring and Annual Confirmations. Click a row to open that AR's record.

The SUP 12 Self-Assessment

Your annual self-assessment under SUP 12.6A.6R, filled from your oversight records, chased until its steps are closed and approved by your directors. How it works

One report across the network

Twelve sections covering the whole network, cited against SUP 12. Tick which ARs it covers and whether to include your own firm, and the coverage is saved with the report so it always says what it looked at.

A firm filter on every page

Choose one AR, several or all of them, and the page follows: the Control Centre, registers, Annual Confirmations, people and customers. Built for a network with dozens of firms in it.

Nine oversight records

On each AR's SUP 12 side

Intensified monitoring

When an AR goes onto heightened supervision: what changed, who owns it, by when, and how it was resolved or escalated.

Supervisory meetings

Audits, meetings and visits: what you covered, what you found, how you rated it, who owns the follow-up and when the next one is due.

Second line reviews

Financial promotions, customer outcome files, complaints handling, and training and competence, reviewed and recorded.

Customer file sampling

Pass, fail or edit on every file you sample, with the root cause and the remediation followed through to closure.

Annual review

The formal yearly review of each AR, and the decision on whether the appointment continues.

Material changes

What each AR tells you has changed, and whether that change needs notifying to the FCA.

FCA correspondence

Letters, emails, supervisory calls and skilled person engagements, kept against the AR they concern, with your response beside them.

Financial monitoring

Revenue, profit, capital adequacy and solvency for each AR, period by period, with a flag when something needs looking at. Evidence the firm is still viable to hold its appointment.

Termination

When an appointment ends: the decision, when it took effect, the reason, whether the FCA was told and on time, and the checks on customers, signed off.

Every AR, rolled up

Tagged by firm

The Control Centre

Everything overdue, due in the next seven days or waiting on your approval, across your own firm and every AR, with the firm that needs most attention named first. One weekly email per person, not one per firm.

Annual Confirmations

What every AR has confirmed, in one table with each one's rating, approval and how much is answered. Filter by firm and click straight through to the confirmation itself.

Registers

Complaints, breaches, conflicts and the rest, with how many entries each register holds and how many are open, for one AR, several or all of them.

Policies

Each AR's policies sit on its own record, with owner, version and review dates, and a review that has passed shows in red.

People

Every AR's regulated people: fitness and propriety and when it is next due, responsibilities, conduct, their due diligence, and who holds a login.

Customer Hub

Customer files and counterparties at every AR: each customer's new business, complaints and due diligence, with its risk rating and when it is next due.

Control, and proving it

Guardrails and evidence

An AR cannot exceed your permissions

You record your own firm's permissions once. On an AR's record they become a list to tick from, and nothing else. Remove one from your own and any AR still naming it is flagged in red.

Push your templates out

Upload your own policy templates once, in Settings, and choose which ARs receive them. Each AR finds them under Principal Templates on its Policies tab, and a new version reaches every AR already assigned.

Readiness, for your own firm

A tab of your own firm's record: who leads if the FCA appoints a Skilled Person or a case reaches the Ombudsman, who to contact, and when you last rehearsed producing documents at short notice.

A proof pack across firms

Tick the firms you want and get one dated document covering all of them, ready to hand to your directors or an auditor.

Export the whole network at once

One download covering every firm you tick, plus your own oversight records about them, without going into each AR in turn.

One link for an auditor

A single read-only address covering every firm you tick, so a reviewer gets one link rather than one per firm. Passcode and expiry optional, and you can revoke it.

Network questions

Asked before buying, answered honestly

Is Network on top of Starter, Growth or Pro?
No — Network is its own tier: £750 a month including 3 Appointed Representatives, then £50 per AR per month. It includes everything Pro includes for your own firm, plus the network-wide AR oversight described above.
Is there a free trial?
Network is not offered as a free trial. Contact us, or book a demo, and we will take you through it in the live product.
What does an AR see when it logs in?
Only its own firm — the Annual Confirmations, registers, policies and documents you've chosen to share with it. It never sees your firm's records, your SUP 12 Self-Assessment or any other AR's.
Can I change plan later?
Yes — any time, from your billing portal. No phone call, no notice period, no penalty.
